Dear Kisa
Written by Linxin “Kisa” Li
Dear kisa, I think it’s time. I think I am ready…
These monsters will always be there, but don’t be scared.
We have to face them.
And now it’s time.
I’ve been wandering barefoot in the cold for too long…
The desolate sea tide and the bleak moonlight tell the story of the madness,
And contradiction in the heart of these lost souls…
Who are confused,
And full of hopelessness.
These feelings brought back the unwanted painful memories from my unconscious.
I heard him talking…
But I didn’t follow the demand.
I didn’t let it overtake me.
Then you said avoiding can’t be the escape.
I am diving into this great cold of pain,
To see the poetical obscurity and subtle moves,
To see the deepest anguish and despair in the wind,
And watch them sum up from the dark.
But, but what if the voice is real?
What if it’s from the misty world?
The other dimension? The other reality?
What if I follow?
I’ve been circling around the fire of ice,
I am scared, but fearless.
Words are not enough to touch your inner world,
But might the soft and delicate bodily imagination,
Destroy the cold and hard wall in your heart.
If the desolation of those feelings can overwhelm all the sensitive souls,
那么,我做到了。
Dear Kisa,
Those monsters will still be there,
But this time,
We’ll face them together.
