Film
As a filmmaker, my goal is to cast a spotlight on those who are often ignored and lost.
Through my film, I seek to create impartial narratives that reveal the harsh realities faced by individuals enduring adversity.
劫, Self-Deconstruction
The film follows the journey of the protagonist (Kisa), who has severe mental disorders: depression, anxiety, and PTSD. The story will follow the protagonist’s misfortune, drowning in this endless nightmare. Interspersed between the misty world and confusion reality, what is real? Can she escape? The purpose of this story is to offer the audience an immersive experience that will provide insight into the traumatic internal world of the dancer herself.

being an artist is hard,
being a young professional is hard,
being a woman of color is hard,
but I’m grateful that I have these amazing women by my side through this rough time,
I’m blessed to meet these talented creative friends,
who shared the same passion, value, and perspective with me during my time in Tallahassee.
this film is to me,
and to all these people my age,
It's ok to feel overwhelmed,
It's ok that you don’t know which path to choose,
It's ok to only focus on yourself.
Healing is hard,
But please don't be scared.
Knowing that you're loved,
And you are exactly where you are supposed to be,
And doing exactly what you supposed to do.
I love you.
